the annual gaines' family reunion was in portage this year. a new addition was a walk in the parade to support the cancer benefit mom was involved with. it was HOT but the kids were troopers! i know mom loved showing off all the grandkids:)
on saturday night we had a potluck at uncle ron's house. it was so fun seeing reese interact with all of her "big kid" cousins. she just loves hanging out with them and copying what she sees them do. reese and kamryn kept themselves amused with a cup of rocks and of course reese had to have some water bottles to play with. containers are one of her favorite things to play with these days. putting things into containers and taking them out and putting caps on things. it keeps her busy for what seems to be hours....who needs real toys?
