Boat rides were a daily occurance. Reese loved to go fast and would say, "faster" to daddy!
She did an amazing job with swimming off the boat at the beginning of the summer. She'd jump in all by herself with her life jacket on, go under, and come up laughing. She even swam all the way from the boat into the beach to see Aunt Jenna and Uncle Chris one day, (making certain to not actually touch the sand of course). One day a huge splash came up over the front of the boat and created a bit of a wave fear in Reese. She wasn't so brave in jumping in after that, but by the end of the summer we got her going again...
She even tried tubing!
and here's a video of her debut...
Popsicles were an obsession....
The playground was a delight (except for the sand of course)...
The kiddie pool was also enjoyable, especially with Uncle Chris...
And here she is livin' the life...
and the number one highlight of the summer......
"I'M GOING TO BE A BIG SISTER!"
That's right, this little lady will become a big sister around March 4th. We were delighted to find out in June. They will be three years apart, which is what I always wanted (just like my sis and I). I feel very blessed to have this little life inside of me. Reese has been adorable anticipating her new job. She insists she will have a baby sister....time will tell. She tells everyone that my belly will get bigger and bigger. She often asks, "Mommy, I want to see that baby in there." She lifts up my shirt to try and get a glimpse inside:) I know she will be a wonderful big sister. Praise God for this gift He is blessing Adam and I with.
