I can't seem to get a really good, clear picture of them, but you get the idea. It's so easy to do so far. I just took a scrap of fabric about 2 feet long and 1 inch wide. Rolled it up length wise and then twisted it around itself in a circle...voila...fabric flowers! Now I just have to figure out some other fabrics and buttons to coordinate and how to get them on a chain of some sort. I'd definitely recommend making some yourself!
Obsessed with blogs
So lately I can't seem to stop searching blogs for fun things to make. I mean, I used to go to bed at 9 or 10..I know lame city, but it's now almost midnight and I'm still up trying out this new necklace. I found these cool necklaces on etsy: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=26951326 and thought..are you kidding me $40-$80..I can so make that. So I started making the first buds with some scrap fabric I had laying around. The button is from my collection of vintage buttons I found in Shipshewana last summer. They've been haunting me to make something amazing with them and I think this is the ticket! Here are the first to flowers I've attempted....
